Copaiba is a coveted essential oil for wellness aficionados, and once you learn about it's incredible healing properties for all body systems (which are being compared to other popular holistic alternatives), you'll understand why!
Co-pa-ee-ba, as it's pronounced by the indigenous people that grow it, has a very high content level of Beta-caryophyllene chemical constituent, which is known to have cannabinoid-like properties. As such, Copaiba essential oil is frequently compared to CBD for having similar healing effects.
There have been over 70 peer-reviewed studies published in scientific journals in the last few years evaluating the benefits of Copaiba. Even though Copaiba is similar to CBD, like the essential oil industry, most of the CBD oil out there is adulterated (unregulated industry) with no proof of authenticity from third-party testing, like doTERRA essential oils has. doTERRA's Copaiba essential oil is sourced from the resin of the copaiba tree which can grow upwards of more than 100 feet and can be found in the Amazon rainforest.
The native people of northeastern Brazil have been using Copaiba for centuries to support the respiratory, digestive, urinary, cardiovascular, and immune systems as well as in beauty & face care products for its skin soothing properties.

Copaiba is extracted from mature trees between 30 and 50 years in age and considered one of the most anti-inflammatory substances on earth. In this way it makes an excellent joint support for arthritis, muscle cramps, tendinitis, gout and inflammation.
Copaiaba also has a high content level of antioxidant — the substance that stops potential damage to your cells from oxidation, making this a solid cellular support too.
It's main chemical constituent, beta caryophyllene, works directly with our endocannabinoid system. Our brain, vital organs, immune cells, and even connective tissue contain endocannabinoid receptors, which affect us on a physiological level based on a multitude of factors, such as environment, diet, etc.
Copaiba soothes the skin, body systems, and mind for whole body wellness, and it does this by working on a cellular level.
Emotionally, Copaiba is the oil of Unveiling.
