Clary Sage essential oil is an ancient oil that's been used since the Medieval era, due to its topical skin properties as well as balancing and calming effect on mood. Particularly, it was used for its soothing properties on the hair and scalp, as it helps soothe irritation while promoting healthier and stronger hair.
Clary Sage is derived from Latin meaning "clear eyes" This is why it was used by Medieval monks for eye troubles, and why it's characterized as the oil of vision. The Romans called it claurus, which can be translated as “clear,” because of its use as an eye wash.
Clary Sage happens to support feminine qualities, which are present in both women and men. The feminine energy can be thought of as soft, intuitive, balancing and still energy. In the same way, Clary Sage essential oil supports the physical feminine reproductive system, during any stage such as menopause, menstrual cycle, fertility, child birth, postpartum and breast health. It supports both the emotional and physical aspects of the feminine body and cycle!
What makes it so calming is it's high ester content, which supports this quality and makes it a remedy for anxious feelings. Its' ability to calm the nervous system makes it an excellent support for nervous system related dis-eases, and promoting sleep from insomnia.
Energetically, it's the oil of clarity and vision, which assists us in changing our perceptions while giving us courage to see the truth. It clears darkness and allows individuals to see their limiting belief systems. It also helps to open creative channels and clear blocks to this. It does this by eliminating distractions from the mind and assist individuals to a state of emptiness where creative ideas can be realized.

In all areas of our lives, be it our personal or business or spiritual areas, it's important to have a vision for what we want, and Clary Sage supports this while clearing any limiting beliefs that are blocking it.

Physical Support
For PMS and Menopause, take in a capsule or apply on abdomen or bottoms of feet
For pink eye, apply a drop around but not in eye
For hot flashes, combine with water and a few drops of peppermint in a spray bottle and spritz on back of neck for cooling relief
For infertility and prostate/uterine health, use in a capsule or apply to abdomen and uterine reflex points
For Parkinson's Seizures and convulsions, apply to back of neck to support healthy brain function
For postpartum depression and anxiety, inhale and diffuse or apply to the heart area and bottoms of feet.
For child birth & low milk supply, apply diluted down spine or over abdomen
For endometriosis and breast cancer, apply diluted to breasts or take in a capsule to regulate estrogen
For insomnia, take under the tongue or apply to bottoms of feet, diffuse at bedtime with Bergamot
Mental Support
If feeling foggy, mental constraint and tension, apply to temples, or back of neck, or diffuse.
Emotional Support

Spiritual Support
